Crosspointe Church Personal Information Policy

Crosspointe Community Church (CPCC) is committed to uphold, respect, and protect the privacy and confidential information of Members, Friends and the Church. The Church will not share membership lists and member information with outside parties. CPCC will not divulge personnel information to outside parties except as required by State and Federal law, or appropriate judicial order. All Volunteers are required to have a background check as a prerequisite to volunteer service. Crosspointe Community Church utilizes a background check service from "Checkr". This service will initiate the background check on the behalf of CPCC. Only the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor has access to view details of background checks. All staff have access to view "Pass" or "Fail" status only of background checks. We do not collect or store SSN information and is required only by the "Checkr" background check process. The applicant has access to the results of their background check through the https://checkr.com/applicant portal and can access the results after their background check has completed. CPCC volunteer application contains information that is confidential and may be reviewed by the senior pastor of CPCC, the elder board, or persons authorized by the elder board having authority to make personnel/volunteer decisions. Persons who review, duplicate, distribute or disclose any portion of the application without authorization, face one or more of the following consequences: 1) possible civil liability; 2) possible criminal liability; 3) possible termination of employment; and/or 4) possible dismissal from any official position(s).
