Dear CrossPointe PDO Families,
In keeping with CrossPointe church’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all families that we have had a positive test for COVID-19 at PDO. Due to this exposure, we will be closing PDO for Thursday, January 7th, 2021. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details that may identify him or her.
We have conducted a case investigation and have contacted any individuals determined to be in close contact with the infected individual. If you have not received a phone call from our staff, we do not have reason to believe your student was in close contact with the infected individual.
Our goal is to be open as soon as possible with those being infected asked to quarantine. Please, as always, before bringing your child to PDO, please confirm those you are checking in did not have the following symptoms in the last 48 hours:
Do not have a Fever of 100 degrees or higher, dry cough, shortness of breath, chills, loss of taste or smell, chills, sore throat, muscle aches, diarrhea, headaches or vomiting.
Have not come in contact with anyone that you know that had COVID-19 or COVID-like symptoms in the last 14 days.
Have not had a positive COVID-19 test for active virus in the last 10 days.
Thank you for your understanding and know that we are taking these extra precautions as your child’s health and safety is our first concern. We will be updating you on our opening status on Monday, January 11th, 2021. If you have any questions you can reach out to me at ksmith@cptyler.church
Thanks,
Kimberly Smith
